Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mineral buildup and ensures efficient operation.

  1. Daily: Refill with fresh, cool water.
  2. Weekly/Bi-Weekly Cleaning:
    • Unplug unit and remove water tank.
    • Empty any remaining water from tank and base.
    • Clean tank with a mild detergent and soft brush. Rinse thoroughly.
    • Wipe base interior and exterior with a damp, soft cloth. Do not submerge base.
    • Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembly.
  3. Demineralization Cartridge: Replace cartridge as recommended (typically every 30-60 days or when indicated) to reduce white dust.

Tip: Use distilled or demineralized water to minimize cleaning frequency and white dust.

Using Essential Oils

Optional use with essential oil tray (if model includes).

  1. Ensure humidifier is unplugged and cool.
  2. Locate the essential oil tray (usually a small removable compartment).
  3. Add a few drops (2-3) of desired essential oil to the tray. DO NOT add oil directly to the water tank.
  4. Reinsert the tray into its slot on the humidifier.
  5. Operate humidifier as normal. Scented mist will be released.

WARNING! Use only 100% pure essential oils. Do not exceed recommended drops. Clean oil tray regularly to prevent clogging. Adding oils to water tank may damage the unit.
