Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on a firm, flat, level surface away from walls and electronics.

  1. Remove the water tank from the base.
  2. Remove all packaging materials from the base and filter compartment.
  3. Install the wicking filter: Soak it in cool water for 15 minutes, then insert it into the filter frame in the base.
  4. Fill the tank: Turn the tank upside down, remove the cap, fill with cool, clean tap water (do not use hot water or additives), and replace the cap securely.
  5. Place the filled tank back onto the base. Ensure it is seated properly.
  6. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Always place the humidifier on a water-resistant surface. Do not place on carpets or uneven surfaces where it may tip over.

First-Time Use

Power on the humidifier and configure initial settings.

  1. Turn the humidistat knob to the desired humidity level (e.g., 45-50% for comfort).
  2. Select a speed setting using the SPEED button (High for quick humidification, Quiet for nighttime).
  3. Adjust the 360-degree mist nozzle to direct moisture away from walls and furniture.
  4. The unit will run until the desired humidity is reached, then cycle on/off automatically.
  5. The refill light will illuminate when the tank is empty.

CAUTION! Use only clean, cool tap water. Do not add essential oils or other chemicals, as they can damage the unit and void the warranty.

  3. Drying: Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling and storing.
  4. End of Season: Perform a thorough cleaning and ensure the unit is completely dry before storage. Store in a cool, dry place.

WARNING! Never immerse the base unit, motor, or electrical parts in water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or bleach.

Filter Replacement

The wicking filter should be replaced every 1-2 months, depending on water hardness and usage.

  1. Unplug the humidifier and remove the water tank.
  2. Remove the old filter from the filter frame in the base.
  3. Soak the new filter (Model HWF-501) in cool water for 15 minutes.
  4. Insert the damp filter into the frame, ensuring it is seated flat and securely.
  5. Reassemble the tank and base.

Tip: Using demineralization cartridges or distilled water can extend filter life.

Safety Features
