Specifications

Controls and Operation

Primary control is the Humidistat Dial on the front of the unit.

Operation: Turn the dial clockwise to increase humidity output (higher setting) and counter-clockwise to decrease output (lower setting). The unit will run until the desired room humidity is reached or the tank is empty.

Indicator Lights:
Power Light (Green): Illuminates when unit is plugged in and operating.
Refill Light (Red): Illuminates when the water tank is empty or nearly empty.

Auto Shut-Off: The humidifier will automatically turn off when the tank is empty. The red Refill Light will remain on until the tank is refilled.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning is essential to prevent mold and mineral buildup. Clean at least once a week during use, or more often in hard water areas.

  1. Unplug the humidifier from the electrical outlet.
  2. Remove the water tank and empty any remaining water.
  3. Separate the tank from the base. Remove the demineralization cartridge if installed.
  4. Clean all interior surfaces of the tank and base with a mild detergent and the provided cleaning brush. Do not submerge the base in water.
  5. Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all soap residue.
  6. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  7. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling and refilling.

CAUTION! Never use harsh chemicals, bleach, or ammonia. Never immerse the base unit in water.

Filter Information

This model uses a Demineralization Cartridge (WDC-1) to reduce white mineral dust. It is not a bacteria filter.

Safety Features

Auto Shut-Off: Automatically powers off when the water tank is empty to prevent damage.
Tip-Over Protection: Unit is designed to minimize spillage if tipped.
Cool Mist Technology: Produces a cool, safe mist—no risk of burns from hot water or steam.

When not in use for an extended period (e.g., summer months), prepare the humidifier for storage.

  1. Unplug the unit.
  2. Empty and thoroughly clean all parts as described in the Cleaning section.
  3. Allow all parts to air dry completely.
  4. Reassemble the unit and store in its original box or a clean, dry place.
