Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Place on a level, stable surface away from walls and electronics.

  1. Remove tank: Lift tank off base unit.
  2. Install filter: Remove filter from packaging, soak in cool water for 15 minutes, then insert into base filter compartment.
  3. Fill tank: Turn tank upside down, remove cap, fill with cool, clean water up to fill line. Replace cap securely.
  4. Assemble: Place tank back onto base unit, ensuring it sits firmly.
  5. Plug in: Connect power cord to a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Use only clean, cool water. Do not use hot water or add fragrances/oils to tank. Ensure unit is on a waterproof surface.

First-Time Use

After setup, power on the humidifier.

  1. Turn humidistat knob to desired setting (1-Low to 3-High).
  2. Adjust mist outlet direction as needed.
  3. Monitor humidity levels; ideal indoor humidity is 40-60%.
  4. Refill tank when indicator light illuminates.

Maintenance & Cleaning

  3. Clean tank with mild soap and warm water; rinse thoroughly.
  4. Wipe base interior with damp cloth; do not submerge base in water.
  5. Clean mist outlet with soft brush to remove residue.
  6. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembly.

Tip: Use white vinegar solution for descaling mineral deposits (1 part vinegar to 3 parts water). Rinse well.

Filter Replacement

Replace wicking filter every 1-3 months or when indicator light activates.

  1. Unplug unit and remove tank.
  2. Open filter compartment on base.
  3. Remove old filter and dispose.
  4. Soak new filter (HWF632) in cool water for 15 minutes.
  5. Insert new filter into compartment, ensuring proper alignment.
  6. Close compartment, replace tank, and plug in unit.
  7. Reset filter indicator if applicable (press and hold button for 5 seconds).

WARNING! Do not operate with a damaged or old filter. Use only genuine Honeywell HWF632 filters.
