Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on a flat, stable, level surface away from walls and electronics.

  1. Remove tank from base and unscrew cap.
  2. Fill tank with cool, clean tap water. Do not use hot water or additives.
  3. Replace cap securely and wipe any spills.
  4. Place tank back onto base, ensuring it sits evenly.
  5. Insert the wick filter into the base slot, ensuring it is fully seated.
  6. Plug power adapter into base unit and then into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Use only the provided power adapter. Do not operate with damaged cord or plug. Keep away from children.

First-Time Use

Power on the unit; the digital display will illuminate.

  1. Set desired humidity: Press the HUMIDITY button to cycle between 35% and 65% RH.
  2. Select fan speed: Press the SPEED button to choose Low, Medium, or High.
  3. Enable night light: Press the LIGHT button to turn the blue night light On or Off.
  4. The humidistat will automatically monitor room humidity and adjust operation.
  5. The REFILL indicator will light when the tank is empty.

CAUTION! Always place on a water-resistant surface. Do not block mist outlet.

Operation Guide

For daily operation, ensure the tank is filled and the filter is in place.

  1. Press POWER to turn the unit on. The display will show current room humidity.
  2. Press HUMIDITY to set your target humidity level.
  3. Press SPEED to select mist output. Low for quiet night operation, High for rapid humidification.
  4. When the REFILL light turns on, unplug the unit, remove the tank, and refill with water.
  5. To turn off, press and hold the POWER button for 3 seconds, or unplug from the outlet.

Tip: Ideal indoor humidity is between 40% and 50%. Use the humidistat to maintain this range.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral buildup. Clean every 1-2 weeks during use.

  1. Unplug the unit and remove the water tank and wick filter.
  2. Empty any remaining water from the base reservoir.
  3. Clean the tank and base with a mixture of mild dish soap and warm water. Use a soft brush for the tank interior.
  4. Rinse all parts thoroughly with clean water.
  5. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the base unit in water.
  6. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling.
  7. For disinfecting, use a solution of 1 teaspoon of white vinegar per gallon of water. Rinse well.

WARNING! Never use bleach, harsh chemicals, or abrasive cleaners. Do not put base unit in dishwasher.

Filter Replacement

The wick filter should be replaced every 1-2 months, or when visibly coated with minerals or discolored.

  1. Unplug the unit and remove the water tank.
  2. Lift out the old wick filter from the base slot.
  3. Insert the new filter (Honeywell Part #HUL900FILTER). Ensure it is fully seated and straight.
  4. Reassemble the tank and base. The new filter must be saturated with water before operation.
  5. Run the unit for 15 minutes to fully wet the new filter.

Note: Using the humidifier without a filter or with a clogged filter can reduce performance and damage the unit.

Care & Storage

When not in use for an extended period, prepare the unit for storage.

  1. Unplug the unit and empty all water from the tank and base.
  2. Remove and discard the used wick filter.
  3. Clean all parts thoroughly as described in the Maintenance section and allow to dry completely.
  4. Store the unit in its original box or a clean, dry place.
  5. Do not store with a filter installed. Install a new filter at the start of the next season.

CAUTION! Never store with water inside. This can lead to mold, mildew, and damage.
