Installation

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on a flat, stable, and level surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from the humidifier and tank.
  2. Install the wicking filter: Remove from packaging and insert into the filter slot in the base unit.
  3. Fill the water tank: Carry tank to sink, remove cap, fill with cool tap water, replace cap securely.
  4. Place tank on base: Align tank with base unit and set it down firmly.
  5. Position the humidifier: Ensure at least 6 inches of clearance on all sides for proper air flow.

WARNING! Do not operate without water. Do not block mist outlet. Use on a water-resistant surface.

First-Time Setup

After installation, prepare the humidifier for initial use.

  1. Ensure the humidifier is unplugged from power outlet.
  2. Fill the water tank completely as described in Installation.
  3. Place tank on base and allow a few minutes for the wicking filter to absorb water.
  4. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
  5. Turn the Power Switch to ON. The indicator light will illuminate.
  6. Adjust the Humidistat Control Dial to your desired humidity level (e.g., 40-50% relative humidity).
  7. Adjust the Mist Output Nozzle to direct mist away from walls, furniture, and electronics.

CAUTION! Use only cool tap water. Do not use hot water, additives, or essential oils unless specified.

Front Panel Controls: Power Switch (On/Off with light), Humidistat Control Dial (Low to High settings).

Operation: Turn Power Switch ON. Adjust Humidistat Dial clockwise to increase humidity output (HIGH) or counterclockwise for lower output (LOW). The unit will run until the desired room humidity is reached or the tank is empty.

Indicator: Power light indicates unit is on. No separate low-water light; monitor Water Level Indicator visually.

Mist Nozzle: Manually rotate to direct mist flow.

Connecting to Power

Use only a 120V AC outlet. Ensure hands are dry.

  1. Place humidifier in desired location.
  2. Plug power cord directly into wall outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
  3. Ensure cord is not pinched or under the unit.

Tip: For safety, plug into a GFCI outlet in areas near water sources.

Operating the Humidifier

Daily operation steps for optimal performance.

  1. Check water level: Use the Water Level Indicator; refill when low.
  2. To refill: Turn Power Switch OFF. Lift tank off base, carry to sink, remove cap, fill with cool tap water, replace cap, return tank to base.
  3. Adjust settings: Use Humidistat Dial to increase or decrease mist output as needed for comfort.
  4. Direct mist: Adjust nozzle to ensure even distribution in room.
  5. When not in use: Turn Power Switch OFF, unplug unit, empty any remaining water from tank and base.

WARNING! Never move the unit while it is operating or full of water. Always turn off and unplug before servicing.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral buildup. Clean every 1-2 weeks during use.

  1. Unplug the humidifier and remove water tank.
  2. Empty any remaining water from base.
  3. Clean tank: Rinse with clean water. For deposits, use mild detergent and soft brush. Rinse thoroughly.
  4. Clean base: Wipe interior with damp cloth. Use a mixture of white vinegar and water (1:1) to descale if needed. Rinse well.
  5. Clean wicking filter: Rinse under cool water if dirty. Replace filter every 1-2 months or as needed (Model FILTER-UC1).
  6. Dry all parts completely before reassembly.

CAUTION! Do not immerse base unit in water. Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives, or bleach.
