Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on a flat, stable, waterproof surface away from electronics.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from tank and base.
  2. Install the wick filter: Remove from package, soak in cool water for 15-20 minutes, then insert into filter holder in base.
  3. Fill the tank: Carry tank to sink, remove cap, fill with cool, clean water. Replace cap securely.
  4. Assemble: Place tank onto base unit, ensuring it sits evenly.
  5. Plug power adapter into base unit and then into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Use only clean, cool water. Do not use hot water or add oils directly to water tank. Ensure unit is on a level surface.

First-Time Use

After installation, follow these steps to begin operation.

  1. Power on: Press the Power button on the control panel. The indicator light will illuminate.
  2. Set mist level: Turn the Humidity Control dial to desired setting (Low, Medium, High).
  3. Adjust nozzle: Point the 360° mist nozzle in your preferred direction.
  4. Monitor operation: Mist should be visible from nozzle within a few minutes.
  5. For essential oils: If using optional tray, add a few drops to the tray only, not into the water tank.

CAUTION! Never operate without the wick filter installed. Do not block mist outlet.

  5. To refill: Power off, remove tank, carry to sink, refill, replace on base.
  6. Automatic shut-off will activate if tank runs empty or is removed while unit is on.
  7. For optional aromatherapy: Add 3-5 drops of essential oil to the separate tray only.

Tip: Place humidifier at least 12 inches from walls and on a waterproof mat or tray.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents mold and mineral buildup. Unplug unit before any maintenance.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with a soft, damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Empty any remaining water, clean tank and base with a mixture of 1 cup white vinegar and 1 gallon water. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Descaling: For hard water areas, use vinegar solution to soak and remove mineral deposits from tank and base.
  4. Drying: Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembly or storage.
  5. Storage: If not using for extended period, clean thoroughly, ensure all parts are dry, and store in original box in a cool, dry place.

WARNING! Never immerse motor base in water. Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives, or detergents.

Filter Replacement

The wick filter should be replaced every 1-2 months depending on water hardness and usage.

  1. Power off and unplug the humidifier.
  2. Remove water tank and set aside.
  3. Remove old wick filter from the filter holder in the base.
  4. Insert new Honeywell HF-570 filter. No pre-soaking required for replacement.
  5. Reassemble tank and base, plug in, and resume operation.
  6. The "Check Filter" light may illuminate when replacement is due; reset by replacing filter.

Note: Using non-genuine filters may reduce performance and void warranty.
